GP Solutions DMCC to Advise Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority on MaaS Development

Dubai, United Arab Emirates. GP Solutions DMCC announces the launch of a strategic consulting engagement with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) focused on the development of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions and the advancement of integrated digital mobility services in Dubai. Within the framework of this engagement, GP Solutions DMCC will provide advisory support on MaaS architecture, multimodal service integration, user experience design, payment and ticketing models, and the long-term development of unified mobility ecosystems.

The collaboration is aimed at supporting Dubai’s vision for a more connected, data-driven, and user-centric transport environment, where residents and visitors can access multiple modes of transport through seamless digital channels. The advisory scope will cover the strategic and operational aspects of MaaS implementation, including integration scenarios for public transport, micromobility, taxi and ride-hailing services, parking, and digital payment instruments.

GP Solutions DMCC will contribute its expertise in designing and delivering digital mobility platforms for public-sector and city-level transport programs, with particular focus on multimodal journey planning, service interoperability, fare logic, e-wallet architecture, and scalable technology frameworks aligned with the needs of modern transport authorities.

Nikita Varenov, COO of GP Solutions DMCC:

“We see MaaS not as a standalone mobile product, but as a strategic layer of digital urban infrastructure. For a city like Dubai, the real value of MaaS lies in its ability to unify fragmented mobility services into a single, intuitive environment that improves accessibility, increases public transport efficiency, and creates a more seamless daily experience for users.

We are honored to support RTA in this direction and bring our practical expertise in multimodal platforms, digital ticketing, and mobility ecosystems to this engagement. We believe that Dubai has all the prerequisites to remain one of the global reference points for next-generation urban mobility.”

The advisory engagement reflects the growing importance of MaaS as part of broader smart city and transport digitalization strategies in the Gulf region. As cities move beyond isolated transport apps toward integrated mobility ecosystems, the role of system-level consulting, interoperability planning, and regulator-aligned platform design becomes increasingly critical.
