GP Solutions DMCC Launches Movnex in Tbilisi, Introducing the City's First Destination-Led Mobility Application

Dubai, United Arab Emirates. GP Solutions DMCC announces the official launch of Movnex in Tbilisi, the first destination-led mobility application in Georgia. The initial release introduces a multimodal journey planner for the city's public transport network together with an integrated map of points of interest across Tbilisi. This launch marks the first phase of a broader product roadmap that will progressively expand into taxi integration, micromobility, verified partner cashback and a unified mobility wallet.

Movnex is being developed as a new category of urban mobility product, designed around the idea that people travel not for the sake of movement, but for the sake of destinations. Rather than positioning itself as another route planner, the application connects the act of planning a trip with the underlying purpose of that trip - reaching a restaurant, a hotel, a cultural site, a service provider, or a daily destination. In its current MVP form, Movnex establishes the foundational journey planning layer on top of which the full destination-led mobility model will be progressively built.

The first release covers the city of Tbilisi and a surrounding zone of approximately 20 kilometers beyond its administrative boundaries. Users can plan multimodal routes that combine the metro, buses, minibuses and walking segments, review schedules for the current moment and for future trips, access information about fares, and browse the official structure of metro and bus lines. The application also includes a curated and categorized base of points of interest covering top destinations, restaurants, hotels, guides, and beauty services, with the partner-driven commercial layer being introduced in subsequent releases. Movnex is available at launch in English, Georgian, and Arabic, reflecting both the local context of Tbilisi and the strong international and tourist demand profile of the city.

The Tbilisi market combines a resident population of approximately 1.2 million with an annual tourist flow exceeding 3 million visitors, high smartphone penetration, and a mature digital payments environment. At the same time, the urban mobility experience in the city remains fragmented across multiple disconnected applications for public transport, taxi, mapping and micromobility. Movnex is designed to consolidate this experience within a single product and, in its upcoming phases, to introduce a verified cashback mechanism that links transport behavior with real-world transactions at partner venues.

Nikita Varenov, COO of GP Solutions DMCC:

"The launch of Movnex in Tbilisi is the first step in a longer initiative aimed at rethinking how cities and their inhabitants interact with mobility. We deliberately started with a journey planner, because we believe the foundation of any serious mobility product is a reliable, fast, and trustworthy way to move through the city. Without that, none of the more advanced commercial layers can be built in a sustainable way.

We chose Tbilisi as the first city for Movnex because it combines a meaningful set of conditions: a dense and active urban environment, a strong international flow, mature digital payments, and a clear demand for a more coherent mobility experience. Our ambition is not to add another transport application to the market, but to gradually build a platform where movement, destinations and value exchange operate as one integrated system. This first release lays the groundwork for that vision, and the next phases will introduce the elements that make the destination-led mobility model fully visible to users and partners."

Subsequent phases of the product, planned for the months following the initial launch, will introduce user registration with a personal QR identifier, integrated taxi services based on a proprietary metering and dispatch system, micromobility options, verified POI cashback with confirmation through a dedicated Telegram mini-application for partner staff, and a unified wallet that allows users to spend earned points across mobility and partner services. Through this phased approach, GP Solutions DMCC intends to validate the destination-led mobility model in Tbilisi before extending it to additional markets, with Kazakhstan and Turkey identified as priority directions for future expansion.
